LAZY DAYS

Some days you won’t want your meal prep. Or fell behind on prep. Or don’t want to cook. It's okay! These are good foods to have on hand to lessen your chances of binging, or getting those high calorie fast food items when you don't really want them.

MetRX Bars

The only meal replacement bars I'll eat!

In my opinion, the best flavors are Crispy Apple Pie, Peanut Butter Pretzel, Blueberry Cobbler, and Vanilla Caramel Churro. In that order.

Frozen Meats

Chicken/Turkey Sausage

Chicken/Turkey Burgers

Frozen chicken patties or nuggets (not breaded!)

Frozen shrimp

Check the nutrition facts! You want at least twice as much protein than there is fat. Only some of them are a good balance.

Meal Replacement Shakes

I'm an honest person, and you'll always get my honest opinions. I haven't found a great one of these. I also don't know a single super fit person that drinks these. They usually don't feel great in your stomach and have sketchy ingredients in them.

Pasta

Edamame, Soybean, Lentil, and Chickpea pastas all provide a lot more protein and nutrients than you would expect! Make it with butter and spices or sauce. Bonus point if you have any veggies to add to it! Frozen are fine!
